Uptown Park
Uptown Park is the small one and it is in old downtown Humble on Main Street. It is the only park near here built around a stage.
| Where | 308 Main Street1 |
|---|---|
| Hours | 8:00 AM to dark1 |
| Size | "extends more than half an acre"1 |
| Opened | "Since 1991, Uptown Park has been a Humble staple."1 |
| Run by | City of Humble Public Works, 281-446-23272 |
| Drive from Timberwood | About 3.8 miles, 8 minutes3 |
What is there
"Stage", "Gazebo", "Picnic Tables", "Playground Equipment", "Public Restrooms".1 The city calls it "scenic" and "ideal for a variety of Houston events".1
Half an acre is small enough to cross in under a minute, so this is a stop on a walk through downtown and not a place to spend an afternoon.
The phone number on the city page is wrong
The Uptown Park page lists the park director's number as 261-446-2327.1 The area code 261 is not in use. The city's other three park pages give 281-446-2327 for the same person, and so does Public Works.452
