What an account is for
The Record is open to anyone. An account is what lets you put something on the site: a notice, a company you've hired, or a correction to a page. It's free and it's for anyone who lives in Timberwood, whether you own your house or rent it.
17 of the 935 homes in Timberwood have an account, which is 1.8%.
Sign up with your name and address
Both are checked against Harris County's owner record. If your last name matches the house you're in right away. If it doesn't then an admin approves it by hand. That is what happens for renters and for anyone who bought recently or changed their name.

There is no password to pick. You type your email address and the site sends you a link that signs you in. After that you stay signed in on that device.
Post, add, and correct
Post a notice about a garage sale or a lost dog and read the ones your neighbors posted. Add a company you've hired to Services. Send a correction or a missing detail on any Record page and vote on which open questions get answered first.
Your posts show a first name, a last initial and your street, and nothing more. Your house number stays hidden unless you turn it on.
Who runs this
My name is Carlos and I live on Pheasant Run. I have been in Timberwood for more than 25 years and my wife and I raised our four kids here. I built this because the answers people found kept disappearing into old Facebook threads. It is free. There are no ads and nothing on it is for sale. The only thing it costs is my time. It is not finished yet, so if you find something wrong or something missing I want to hear about it.
