About
House rules
Who can join
Anyone who lives in Timberwood, whether you own your house or rent it. Most accounts open right away, as soon as the name and address match the county record. The rest are approved by hand.
You do not need an account to read the Record or Services. You do need one to post a notice, add a company, or suggest a correction.
How names appear
You sign up with your full name and full address. The site shows only a first name, a last initial and a street, so a post reads Carlos C. on Pheasant Run. Your house number stays hidden unless you turn it on for your own posts.
The last initial is there so that two neighbors with the same first name on the same street are not mistaken for each other.
Three subjects that do not belong here
- Politics.
- Crime reports and suspicious-person posts.
- Disputes naming another neighbor.
What happens to suggestions
Suggestions go to the site's admin. If one checks out, it becomes part of a page and that page gets a new checked on date. If it cannot be confirmed, it is closed with a reason.
Notices are reviewed before they appear on the board.
What the admin can see
The admin can see the whole site: member contact details, every notice including the ones waiting for approval, and a record of activity on the site.
Nothing is collected from anywhere outside this site.
Disclaimer
Nothing here is legal advice, and nobody involved is a lawyer, an inspector or a city employee. Every page points to the ordinance, the filed document or the phone number behind it. Where a page here and the City of Humble disagree, the city is correct.

Something wrong, or missing?
Members can suggest changes. The pages marked needs a neighbor are the ones where a resident is the only source there is.
