Who runs this

My name is Carlos and I live on Pheasant Run here in Timberwood.

I have been in this neighborhood for more than 25 years and I have lived in three different houses in it. My wife and I raised our four children here.

Over that time I kept running into the same problem. There was nowhere good for people here to put what they knew. The Facebook group helps and I am glad we have it, but it was never built to hold onto information. Somebody asks a question and a few people answer and a week later the whole thread is gone. Two years later somebody asks the same question and we all start over.

I thought it would work better to keep that information in one place. That is why I built this.

How it works

When a question gets a real answer it becomes a page. Every page says where the information came from and when somebody last checked it, so you can go read the ordinance or the county record yourself instead of taking my word for it.

It is free. There are no ads on it and nothing on it is for sale and no business pays to be listed. I am not collecting anything to sell to anybody. You do not need an account to read any of it. The only thing it costs is my time.

What I need from you

I need to know what is wrong with it and what is missing.

I have already gotten things wrong. There was a page here that told people which streets are in a flood zone and the numbers on it were badly off. I only caught it because I went back and checked. There will be more like that one and I would rather hear about it from a neighbor than leave it sitting there.

At the bottom of every page there is a box that says Improve this page or Suggest a change to this page. That is the whole system and it is the best way to reach me. Tell me:

• Something here is wrong, especially about your own street.
• Something is missing that should be here.
• You went looking for something and could not find it.

Some pages are marked needs a neighbor. Those are the questions no public record answers, where the only person who knows is somebody who lives on that street. If that is you then I would like to hear from you.

One promise

I am not going to put anybody's name and address on this site. The map is built out of county records that are already public and even then it names no resident. If something on here about your house bothers you, tell me and I will take it off.
