Accounts are for people who live in Timberwood, whether you own your house or rent it. Most of them open right away, as soon as the name and address match the county record. An admin approves the rest by hand. You don't need one to read the Record.

Your last name and address are checked against Harris County's owner record. If they match then you are in straight away. If they do not, nothing bad happens. An admin approves you by hand instead. That is what happens for renters and for anyone who bought recently or changed their name. Either way you can read the whole site. If your last name is two words or hyphenated, type all of it: either half counts, but only if it is there.
